Galway Races 2010 - Traffic Plan

Due to the opening of the M6 Motorway there will be a new traffic plan in place for the Galway Races Festival Meeting 2010. Owners travelling from Dublin on the new motorway should exit at Junction 19 ( Junction 19 is next after Junction 17-There is no Junction 18) After exiting at Junction 19 follow route to Airport Cross traffic lights and proceed as before to enter the racecourse by the avenue entrance.

Travelling from the South,Owners should go to the Maldron Hotel Roundabout and take the route to the Airport Cross traffic lights and proceed from there to enter the racecourse by the avenue entrance. Travelling from Galway City, Owners should proceed on the N17 and enter racecourse avenue entrance by turning right off this route. The Owners car park will be located in the same area as previous years
