• Any of our members who purchase a Punchestown Annual Badge for 2008 at the special owners rate of 140 (normal price 210) will also be entitled to an additional four complimentary tickets which can be used on any non-festival dates.
• Members with a horse running at Punchestown may purchase additional tickets (over and above the four that a runner entitles one to) at half of the normal price. To avail of this concession it will be necessary to contact the office at Punchestown in advance of the race meeting to make the necessary arrangements

Advertising on Owners racing colours

We are pleased to announce that as from 1st January 2008 a scheme will be introduced in relation to advertising on Owners racing colours. Following our negotiations with The Turf Club over the past twelve months agreement has now been reached with regard to the conditions that will apply to registration and an annual licensing fee.

The introduction of this facility will allow owners the opportunity to promote their own business or to have their colours sponsored by companies wishing to advertise.It is recognised that Owners are the lifeblood of the industry and our Association is continually endeavouring to have their facilities and opportunities improved. The introduction of a scheme such as this, that provides an opportunity to recover some of the costs of racehorse ownership, is to be welcomed.

The Association will be happy to advise members on the operation of sponsorship agreements.

Betting Exchanges

Restaurant Reservation Facility for Owners at Racecourses

We have agreed with a number of racecourses, a table reservation facility, for owners with a runner on the day. The racecourses listed below will hold a number of tables in reserve for a period up to 3 days before the actual race day.

Owners wishing to reserve a table should contact the racecourse directly and advise of their requirements within this time frame. Please note that this facility will not apply on major race days such as Christmas Meetings,Festival Meetings etc. The racecourses are as follows:

Golf Classic - 01.05.07




The Association's Annual Golf Classic which took place at Gowran Park Golf Course on May 1st was very successful. The competition was won by the Turf Club team, represented by Brendan Sheridan, Mark Carroll, Lorcan Wyer and Pat Fogarty. Mark Carroll also won a trip for two to the Arc de Triomphe in October, which was first prize in our raffle, provided by our sponsor, Peak Bloodstock Ltd, Wexford.
