A horse owned under this format will run in the individual’s colours and name. Each sole owner must have their own individual set of racing colours registered. A HRI account will be opened in the registered owners name. |
SOLE OWNER - REGISTRATION
To register as a sole owner, please download and complete the Owner Registration Form
This form needs to be completed in full and returned (email to [email protected]) along with a photocopy of the owners passport/drivers licence that confirms the name, address, date of birth & signature submitted on the form.
The Owner Registration form requests the details of the owner's bank account. This account is used to receive money from the Horse Racing Ireland Owner's Account when a transfer is requested by the owner. To verify this account, the owner must submit a copy of the header of the bank statement for the selected account, showing the account name, account and IBAN number.
To register as an owner takes two working days from when the paperwork and funds are received in order. For example, if everything arrives on a Monday morning, the account is up and running on Wednesday morning. Entries can then be made once the trainer has returned the horse in training on time.
