DEDICATED TOTE SPONSORED RACES FOR SYNDICATE AND RACING CLUB OWNED HORSES

​The last of three races dedicated to Syndicate and Racing Club owned horses only is set to take place at Gowran Park on October 5th. 

​The pilot scheme is being rolled out by the Ownership department of Horse Racing Ireland, who would like to encourage all trainers to support the initiative.
Syndicate and club ownership are recognised as the growth area in the domestic market. Such races give the Ownership department an opportunity to invite potential owners to the races and promote multiple ownership to the target market.

Race Meeting: Gowran Park, 5th October
Race Name: TOTE Backing Your Team Handicap Hurdle 
Conditions: Open to horses which are the sole property of a Syndicate and/or a Racing Club. The horse must have run for the same owner on their previous run. 
2m Handicap Hurdle, a benchmark handicap (109 = 11.10) and will have a prize fund of €15,000.
