Shabra Charity will be holding a fundraiser at the Dublin Racing Festival in February, as they look to raise funds for their vital work in the provision of much-needed medical equipment. The fundraiser is in memory of the late Oliver Brady, who promised the Mater Hospital that he would donate the first World Class DNA Gene Sequencing Equipment to the Dublin hospital.
In the last three years, the charity have been fundraising to fulfill his promise and have raised over €750,000. They are now on the final journey to fundraise for Phase 2 and hope to complete this by 2nd Feb next. If you would like to support Shabra Charity and their vital fundraising endeavors, tickets can be purchased for €160 per person or table of 10 people @ €1600 per 10 persons on one of the biggest events of the charity year at Dublin’s Racing Festival on Champions Day at Leopardstown Racecourse, on Saturday 2nd February 2019. There have been a lot of celebrities attending, and in the past has featured Tommy Bowe, Ian Rush, Shay Byrne, Stephen Staunton, Steven Gerard, Neven Maguire, to name a few.
